All of my offerings are now available under the name Hedge-Rider Press. The word hedge-rider comes from the Old English ‘haegtessa’, however, the etymology of this term evades us much like the enigmatic spirit of the witch herself. Haeg or ‘hedge’ refers to the boundary between borders. The hedge-rider straddles both planes and penetrates the barriers between waking and dream, flesh and spirit, living and dead. A leaping hare serves as the talismanic symbol for my new trade name; a cunning creature whose mythology has long been connected to the moon, shapeshifting and witchcraft.
This revamp & announcement is a celebration of my shop’s three year anniversary and milestone of over 1000 sales on Etsy. Those of you who have followed me since the release of the Ritual Tarot know that my journey began with a short run of only 50 decks crowdfunded by friends and family and a small art exhibit during the height of the pandemic. I never dreamed that this would lead to a full-time endeavor and the privilege of sharing my work with magickal practitioners all over the world.
I currently have two projects in the works: the Hedge-Rider Tarot and the Expanded Edition Guide Book for the forthcoming printing of the Ritual Tarot. I invite you to join my Substack cult if you'd like to support my efforts in-between projects.
Gratitude to all kindred spirits for believing in my art. My heart is fully in it and my hand is guided by a deep honor and dedication to the craft.
