I invite you to join me on a night-flight through the liminal world of the Hedge-Rider.

The name Hedge-Rider comes from the Old English haegtessa. The etymology of this term evades us much like the enigmatic spirit of the witch herself. Haeg or hedge refers to the boundary between borders. A shapeshifter by her very nature, the hedge witch moves sylph-wise between boundaries. Mounted on her anointed besom, she straddles both planes and penetrates the barriers betwixt flesh and spirit, living and dead. Her sacred territory is the Land of Dreams.
